Uncork the adventure and let the wine tours begin! Pick a trail: Cayuga Wine Trail or the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. Family cabin time will include swimming and kayaking on Cayuga Lake, just steps away.

Sleeping arrangement: 2 private bedrooms, each with queen size beds. Lots of extra’s; large armoire/wardrobe, storage drawer, chest of drawers, nightstand, lamp and clock/radio, room darkening shades. Plus a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room for an additional 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. We have a second identical cabin on the property for large groups.
Take a hike in our backyard woods. Cayuga Lake is accessible via a walking path through the owners yard (across the street from the cabins). 3 kayaks & life vest are free. Bringing your own boat? We have parking and Deans Cove Boat Launch is 3 minutes from Cabin 2. We encourage you to bring your dogs with you (maximum 2). Nearby Ithaca has an off-leash Dog park.
We have a second cabin on the same property, so if your group grows from 6 to 12 why not neighbor-up for a great vacation. We have books and movies on DVD too.
Adults will thoroughly enjoy the “trail" winery tasting rooms, gift shops, and restaurants specializing in regional cuisine. Kids will love it here too: Children's Garden in Ithaca, Cayuga Nature Center & Museum of the Earth in Trumansburg. 4 seasons of family fun. Taughannnock Falls State Park has a playground, beach and winter sledding hill.
Filling your day is the easy part; fitting it ALL in is the hard part. Finger Lake region has numerous golf courses, miles of bicycle paths, Seneca Army Depot (ask us about the white deer), winter skiing, even zip line tours! Experience local culture at antique shops, concerts in the park, or winter’s best event - Mardi Gras on the Cayuga Wine Trail.

Excellent place to stay and would highly recommend it to others. The cabin is gorgeous and has all of the amenities you'll need for your stay. Wineries are close by - Hazlitt/Wagner on Seneca Lake are ~20 mins away, and many Cayuga Lake wineries are within a 5 minute drive. Alicia M.
The Cabin is a clean and new as the photos show! Quiet at night - great place for a family gathering if you rented both cabins! Owner near by, hand delivered extra towels and sheets within minutes of our request! We will go again! Jenny C.We celebrated Thanksgiving in the Ithaca area where our daughter was too busy with school to travel home for the holiday. Cheryl and Jim's cabin worked out beautifully, not too close and not too far from Cornell. The cabin was spacious allowing each of us to do our own activities, including our daughter's studies.
