The upstairs bedroom at Fish Inn has a comfy queen-size bed for two and a full size bed for two additional guests (there is also a twin cot). On main level there is a comfortable queen sleeper sofa. On the closed in porch room, there is a full size futon sleeper that will accommodate 2 additional guests.
The surrounding State forest land makes this the ideal destination for your next family vacation or weekend get-away. The region is jam packed with wide-ranging activities: Farmers Market; Golf & Mini Golf; Museums; Waterfalls; Whitewater Rafting when spring is the best time to go for thrill seekers looking for WILD white water - summer and fall are beautiful but a calmer ride.
Fish Inn is literally a two-second walk to the lake - dock and canoes/kayaks. The camp cook will enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, etc. Plus the gas grill on back deck with chairs. The kids will enjoy the selection of tapes and dvds.

When mother nature cooperates, make sure your group takes in every incredible sunsets and views of the lake. Lake Desolation has something for everyone! Hiking for beginners and advanced, dog hikes, biking, swimming, fishing, and good old-fashioned relaxing. Boat to Tinney's Tavern - the one restaurant on the lake. Visit nearby downtown and walk along Main Street at the lake.
Attention snowmobilers and ice skaters: Due to our elevation, we are one of the first lakes to freeze - making Lake Desolation a popular winter destination. From first-ice, mid-January through mid-February, ice-fishermen catch Northern Pike, Lake Trout and Landlocked Salmon. Jack perch is the ‘catch' after mid-February.
We are just 15 min. to the Saratoga Race Track. Also nearby are Balloon Rides (the area is home to the Adirondack Balloon Festival); The Adirondack Theatre Festival returns every year along with professional actors and artists.

Check-in: 4:00 pm. Check-out: 10:00 am sharp! Please give yourself enough time to vacate the cabin before 10:00 am, we need to ready them for the next guests.
If you have special check-in/check-out requirements, please let us know in advance. We will try to work with you as much as possible.
We can provide linens (sheets & towels) in the event you don't want to bring them along for the small additional fee of $25. PLEASE DO NOT SLEEP ON BEDS WITHOUT LINENS.
All reservations are first-come, first-serve. We will e-mail you as soon as we receive everything to confirm your reservation. PARKING SPACE IS LIMITED TO 2 VEHICLES! THE DEPOSIT DUE, AT TIME OF RESERVATION, IS 50% OF THE RENTAL FEE + REFUNDABLE SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT + ANY EXTRAS (DOG/LINENS/EX. GUESTS/ETC.) THE BALANCE IS DUE 14 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL DATE.
