Haven Cottage is a comfortable 2-bedroom with a full kitchen, a spacious dining area and access to resort-style amenities at Journey’s End Lodging. The cottage is located at the top of a gentle incline leading to the edge of Long Lake, with tall tree to the rear and side of the property that provide some privacy and shade.
The floor plan features an open living space with a full kitchen, living room and dining nook. Two private bedrooms are situated to the side of the house, and a door off the kitchen leads to the cottage’s one full bath with combination tub and shower. Guests will love the light-filled dining room with a view of the lake from the large picture window, as well as the comfortable outdoor sundeck with lounge seating. Guests also have access to a reserved parking space in front of the cottage.
Sleeping arrangements: Haven Cottage’s two private bedrooms are furnished with four overnight guests in mind — two twin beds are set up in bedroom one, with a full-sized bed in bedroom two.
Haven Cottage is one of five small family-style vacation units managed by Journey’s End Lodging. These cozy cottages can be rented individually for small groups or multiple at a time to accommodate larger groups for retreats, weddings, reunions or other events.
The cottages are clustered near the water front on Long Lake, located right in the center of the more than six million-acre Adirondack Park. Guests will love the private, grassy yard area surrounding each cottage, as well as the picnic tables, fire pits and grills that lend themselves to both private gatherings and a more social community feel. The resort offers free on-site paddle boards, kayaks and canoe, as well as full access to boat docks. Swimming and diving are available with lifeguard nearby at the Long Lake beach.

Nightly rates at Haven Cottage stand at $150.00 during the regular season, with a two-night minimum stay. Weekly rates stand at $1,000.00.
During peak season (June 22 through September 9), the cabin rents weekly only at a rates of $1,200.00. The cabins are typically closed during the colder months (October 31 through May1), but guests are welcome to contact us for special off-season availability and rates, depending upon weather conditions.
Check-in at Haven is available starting at 4:00 pm with check-out scheduled for 10:00 am. The cottage is dog-friendly and charges an additional fee of $50.00 per pet per stay. A deposit of $200.00 is required to reserve the cabin.
The full balance will be due 30 days prior to the date of arrival. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will forfeit the deposit.
We love the water. A dock is on the property with 3 Adirondack chairs are stationed there. A perfect place for morning coffee or sitting to watch the sunset and listen for the loons. Kayaks, a canoe and stand up paddle boards are available for guests to enjoy at no additional cost. There is a fire pit on the small beach area, and we enjoyed sharing campfires with our neighbors.
