Brookside Cottage is a modern, one-bedroom home on a quiet lot with a babbling brook that runs alongside it. Guests can enjoy the lush greenery in the warmer months, the picturesque snowfall in winter and the calming song of the water all year long.
This open-concept vacation home for six features a spacious single-story floor plan with a large kitchen and a light-filled living area. Large windows on all sides of theses social spaces offer scenic rural views and an easy sense of peace.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dinner place settings, utensils and modern appliances — not to mention plenty of cleared counters to use as work space. The living area is decorated with unique pieces, including an antique steam trunk and an aged wine-barrel turned glass-top table.
Guests have full access to comfortable seating and a wall-mounted flat-screen television. This home also offers a single private bedroom and a full bath.
Sleeping arrangements: The private bedroom at Brookside Cottage is furnished with side-by-side queen-sized beds. There is also a queen-sized foldaway bed in the living area, for a total sleeping capacity of six guests. Bed linens are provided.
Unique Features
Brookside Cottage offers a quiet getaway in a rural area outside of town. The home has a few neighbors within view, but enjoys a large, grassy lawn with trees and a private stretch of creek. There is also plenty of room for onsite parking. Mill Creek Cabins also manages three other vacation homes in the area and a wedding venue with guest suites — perfect for multi-family getaways
Things To Do
Brookside Cottage is located just off the Main Street of Interlaken, New York, within easy walking distance to Interlaken’s Mama Mia’s sandwich shop and two convenience shops.
The rental is surrounded by some of New York’s natural beauties, including Cayuga Lake — a stunning place to hike, swim, boat and fish — and Taughannock Falls State Park, where visitors are sure to get fantastic photos.
This cottage is also conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from both the Seneca and Cayuga wine trails, which are packed with experiential vineyards, wineries and shops where you can taste, explore and stock-up on New York’s finest vintages.

The base rate at Brookside Cottage is: $109/night Monday - Thursday, $149/night on Friday and $159 and Saturday Minimum stays of two nights on weekends.
These rates apply to groups of up to two guests. Additional guests (and pets) will incur a fee of $25/person/night. A one-time cleaning fee of $50 will be applied to each stay.
Check-in is available starting at 3:00 pm, with check-out scheduled by 11:00 am. Earlier check-in or later check-out can be arranged in advance for an additional fee of $40.
No damage deposit is required to hold the cabin. 50% of the rental cost is due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due upon arrival.
Cancellations made a minimum of 15 days prior to the arrival date will receive an 80 percent refund.
