Our Pine Cottage is In the pine and on the lakeshore of Lake Vanare! A great basecamp for your Adirondack vacation getaway. We are only 5 miles from Exit 21 of the Adirondack Northway and under a half hour drive to Saratoga Springs, and Lake George. Your family will find clean, fresh mountain air in every direction.
Inside is an Eat-in Kitchen and all the cozy comforts of home. Since you book directly with us at Hide-A-Way Waterfront Cottages, we can tell you all about our Pine Cottage and the resort grounds. We are great tour guides too: Let us know what your family/group likes to do and we’ll give you tips on how to vacation like a Lake Luzerne local.

Guests will enjoy any of our Cottages at Hide-A-Way Resort on Lake Vanare. We have 4 acres of Wooded Land and 721 ft. of Shoreline. You can enjoy our resort amenities too: Relax on our private beach, play ping pong, badminton, volleyball, and relax on the swings. We have some of the very best waterfront cottages in the Adirondack Mountains.
Some unique events in the Lake George area is: The Adirondack Hot Air Balloon Festival; The Lake Luzerne Heritage Day; and an all day pass riding the Saratoga & North Creek Railway.
Enjoy the Lake Vanare life! Free use of rowboats, canoes, and paddleboats so you can try your luck fishing while surrounded by nature's beauty that has remained virtually unchanged since the land was first discovered. Nothing beats a lakefront fish fry: Try for Yellow perch, Largemouth bass, Smallmouth bass, Crappie, Walleye, Spotted bass, Trout.
Take a break from cabin life and find excellent restaurants, whitewater rafting on the Hudson River or a train ride along the Hudson River. Explore 7 other spring-fed lakes. Take the family horseback riding on scenic mountainous trails and vacation Adirondack Style - you can even watch the pros at a real live rodeo. If you like to golf check out one of our acclaimed courses in the Lake Luzerne/Adirondack Region. Most of our guests take some time to enjoy the splendor of Lake George, or a day at the Saratoga Racetrack.

Based on 5. During Fall and Spring season (Sept 5 through Nov. 1 and May 1 through July 1), Pine Cottage rents at $190 for the night, $470 for three nights or $925 for the week.
During Summer, Pine Cottage rents at $245 for the night, $695 for three nights or $1450 for the week.
Check-in time is between 3:00 and 8:00 p.m. Check out is before 10:00 a.m.
There is no tax charged on weekly rentals.
