Located in the historic stone Gate House is the Hickory (3 bedrooms) and the Chestnut (2 bedrooms). Hickory and Chestnut each sleep 6 guests, but when combined sleep 12. There is a 6 foot hallway that can be opened if the house is reserved by a group. Otherwise, both sides function and can be rented separately. This wonderful property is tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and comes fully stocked with linens, cookware, and dinnerware for use during your stay.
Hickory offers Hudson River Valley charm with modern amenities! Hickory is a three bedroom unit in the original stone Gate House. The large eat-in country kitchen, foyer, living room and 1/2 bath are on the main level.
Chestnut has a living room, and kitchen with cathedral ceilings, creating a very open space. The fireplace wall is shared with Hickory, with back-to-back yet separate fireplaces. Chestnut has a picnic table, gas grill, and 6 outdoor chairs.
Nestled in the Taconic Mountains and right on Willow Lake. Enjoy FREE use of 2 boats, 3 paddleboats, 2 rowboats, loaner fishing poles, chair floats for the lake, and lakeside lounge chairs (ask to schedule use at check-in).
Bring your walking shoes! There are miles of hiking trails here on the estate - everything from an easy stroll around the lake to a vigorous climb to the top of Fishkill Mountain at the back of the property. Ask us for a hiking map! Willow Lake Farms is right on a private 5 acre lake (Willow Lake). Perfect for fishing, boating, swimming, ice skating, and more!
